Prince Edward Island benefits

From the All the Numbers wiki · Retirement and benefits

CRA pays them on family net income from the base year (as for the Canada Child Benefit).

PEI Child Benefit

$34.16 a month for each child under 18 when family income is under $45,000, and $24.16 from there up to $80,000; nothing above. A parent with shared custody gets half for that child. It comes with the CCB each month.[1]

What it does not do

The Sales Tax Credit, which becomes the Island Essentials Benefit in November 2026, is not modelled: its new formula was not published when the rules were read. See income tax in Prince Edward Island.
